This past year we have had many accomplishments. Our chapter’s annual general meeting at Saint Mary’s University and workshop were a great success. Another great success was the WFAS 2015 International Conference in Toronto, which the national CMAAC hosted, and featured a number of our chapter’s members.
We have also had many new members join our association, helping both our association and the field of acupuncture grow in Nova Scotia. CMAAC is getting stronger and stronger in representing acupuncture and TCM as a national voice. I am so proud to have each of you as part of the association.
I would also like to remind each of you that in July 2016, the Canadian College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine (CCATCM) will be taking students on a trip to China. It will be an incredible learning opportunity and lots of fun. If you would like to be part of the trip, please forward your name to me. After students have registered, any available spots will be given on a first come, first serve basis, which will be offered to CMAAC-NS members. I have attached the proposed agenda for the trip.
I would like to wish each of you a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
Sincerely, Dr. Diana Tong Li, President of CMAAC-NS Chapter
